Rent a slice of a GPU, by the hour

Your own Linux machine with reserved GPU memory, root access and CUDA ready to go. Add credit, start it, stop it when you’re done.

  • 4–8 GB RAM
  • CUDA
  • Ubuntu 24.04
  • From ⁦$0.70⁩ an hour

Your slice. Your limits.

RAM, CPU cores, disk and GPU memory are set aside for your slice, whoever else is working.

Pay for the minutes you use.

No plan and no renewal. Credit goes down only while your slice exists, and a stopped slice costs 20% of a running one.

Up and running in three steps

  1. 1

    Add credit

Pay ⁦$10⁩, ⁦$25⁩ or ⁦$50⁩ by card on a Stripe page. No sign-up: your account opens with your first payment.

  2. 2

    Create your slice

In My account, choose a size and paste your SSH key. Your slice is ready in about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Connect and start working

Open a terminal and connect over SSH to Ubuntu 24.04, with full root access. Stop the slice when you’re done and start it again later.

What developers use it for

  • PyTorch and CUDA, ready when you are

Install your stack with pip and run on a real NVIDIA GPU, without buying one or setting up a cloud account.

  • Training small models

Fine-tune and experiment with models that fit your GPU memory, and leave them running while you do something else.

  • Batch jobs

Point a script at a folder of images, audio or text, and let the GPU work through it.

  • Learning and testing GPU code

Write CUDA, check that your code really runs on a GPU, and pay only for the hours you spend on it.

Two sizes, one simple price

We’re getting the first slices ready. Leave your email and we’ll write to you as soon as you can create one.

How we treat your files and your money

  • 0

    Zero copies of your files

When you delete a slice, its files are gone: no copy anywhere, and they don’t show up even in a raw read of the disk.

  • 20%

    Stopping costs a fifth

A stopped slice keeps its disk and its place, for a fifth of the price.

  • 24h

A full day to top up

We email you before your credit runs out. At zero your slice stops, and your files wait 24 hours for you to add credit.

Questions people ask first

What is a GPU slice?
A Linux machine of your own, with a share of an NVIDIA GPU. Your RAM, CPU cores, disk and GPU memory are set aside for you. The GPU’s compute is shared with the other slices.
How does the credit work?
You add credit by card, and we take it off minute by minute: the running price while your slice is on, the stopped price while it’s stopped. Your balance is always in My account.
What happens when my credit runs out?
We warn you by email before it happens. At zero the slice stops and your files stay for 24 hours. Add credit in that time and press Start to carry on. After that the slice is deleted, with no copies.
What can I install?
You have root on Ubuntu 24.04, so you set up your own tools. The NVIDIA driver is already there, so CUDA works from the start and PyTorch installs with pip.
Can I stop it and come back later?
Yes. Stop it from My account and your disk stays as it is for as long as you have credit. Press Start when you need it again.
Do I need a contract or a subscription?
No. You pay for credit, you use it, and there’s nothing to renew or cancel.

Need a GPU for a few hours?

Start small: ⁦$10⁩ keeps a small slice running for 14 hours.
